Themis Computer Joins Oracle® PartnerNetwork

Themis' Quorum, a policy-based, real time system management solution provides a valuable grid computing solution for Oracle Enterprise Linux, Unix, Windows and Solaris users

FREMONT, California -- July 31, 2007 --- Themis® with its Quorum™ availability and workload manager, has joined the Oracle® PartnerNetwork. The Quorum management appliance enables enterprises to easily integrate policy-based automation.

Quorum is the industry's first policy-based high-availability appliance. Quorum can bring real-time high-availability to user applications at a significantly reduced cost when compared to traditional high-availability solutions. Sub-second response times provide protection against software and hardware failures without being in the data path. Quorum is based on the CIM/WBEM open standard.

Themis' Quorum appliance is also a dynamic workload manager and can automate the management of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), applications and hardware resource in real-time, mission critical distributed systems. Standards-based, Quorum supports a wide variety of industry standard platforms including Sun® Solaris™, Linux®, AIX, and Microsoft® Windows® servers, as well as various network switches and SMI-compliant SAN's and NAS devices.
