Themis Names Primeur as a Reseller of its Quorum Management

24, 2007 --- Themis®, with its Quorum™ application
performance and workload management offering, announced a
reseller agreement with Primeur, an IBM® Business Partner,
headquartered Genova, Italy. The Quorum solution, delivered
as an appliance, enables enterprises to realize greater value
from their virtualization initiatives by managing application
performance and workloads according to service level agreements.
These benefits can be achieved without modifying any applications
or workloads.
With today's explosion of virtualization, in the data center,
enterprises are turning to automation and best practice integration
methodologies to guarantee the successful implementation,
availability and operation of applications running on VMware.
This reseller agreement brings a much needed capability to
the European virtualization marketplace. For the first time,
enterprises running mission critical applications on VMware
can manage application performance and workloads according
to service levels and act on violations in real-time. Quorum
is tightly integrated with the VMware Virtual Center Product
to allow for a seamless integration.
Through this reseller agreement, Primeur will offer Quorum
Policy-Based Automation Appliances to its growing base of
VMware customers and leverage the Themis global sales and
marketing activities.
