The RES-12DCO™ dual and quad-core AMD® Opteron™ processor systems deliver the robust design of Themis' Rugged Enterprise Server (RES) family in a low-cost, 1 Rack Unit (1RU) chassis. The rugged, expandable RES-12DCO reflects Themis' extensive expertise in designing high performance systems for use in demanding operating environments.

The RES-12DCO chassis packs up to eight cores of processor power into a compact footprint. Two 3.5 inch disk drive bays can provide over a terabyte of storage. Two expansion slots enable I/O configurability. The RES-12DCO brings state-of-the art server technology to demanding environments with its small size, rugged construction, and multi-core processors.

The RES-12DCO can be configured with one or two AMD dual- or quad-core Opteron processors. Featuring two PCI-X/PCI-Express expansion slots, extensive high speed I/O, and multiple storage options the RES-12DCO allows configurability and system expansion. The RES-12DCO is easily expanded through the addition of commercially available, off the shelf networking cards, I/O, peripherals and other value-added options to meet current and future system requirements.

To ensure reliable operation in harsh environments, Themis designed the new systems to withstand shock loads of 25G¹ and deliver outstanding performance, flexibility and reliability.
