The RES-32XEL™ dual-processor system delivers the robust design of Themis' Rugged Enterprise Server (RES) family in a rugged, 3RU (Rack Unit) chassis. Featuring dual Intel® Xeon™ processors, a 800 MHz frontside bus with Extended Memory 64 Technology (EM64T) support, the RES-32XEL is designed for reliability in demanding applications.

The RES-32XEL can be configured with single or dual high speed Intel Xeon processors. Featuring PCI, PCI-Express and PCI-X expansion slots, and a wealth of I/O and storage options, the RES-32XEL allows users versatile configurability and system expansion. The RES-32XEL is easily expanded through the addition of commercially available, off the shelf networking cards, I/O, peripherals and other value-added options to meet current and future system requirements. Dual Intel Xeon processors with 800 MHz system bus provide up to 6.4GB/s of available bandwidth.

To ensure reliable operation in harsh environments, Themis designed the new systems to withstand shock loads of 25 G @ 12-40 ms (MIL-901D).
