All Themis RES servers are 20 inches deep to save valuable space. Themis rugged servers provide increased resiliency to environmental extremes - including shock loads exceding 20G, vibration, and temperatures to 50° Centigrade.

With features such as RAID, hot swappable N+1 power supplies and expansion capabilities, Themis rugged servers/workstations provide superior scalability, high availability, and a net lower Total Ownership Cost when compared to standard commercial workstations and servers.

Themis' family of Rugged Enterprise Servers (RES) now offers users a choice of compact 1RU, 2RU and 3RU systems incorporating either AMD® or Intel® CPUs. Themis' new AMD and Intel-based RES systems may be configured as single or dual processors models. Themis RES systems are ideal for deployment in demanding Industrial, Data/Telecommunications and military systems.

Themis' dual and quad-core Opteron and Xeon processor-based RES servers provide the robust design features of the Themis server family. Designed to keep operating in environments where systems fail, these rugged 1RU, 2RU and 3RU servers blend the latest processor technologies with Themis' thermal and mechanical design techniques to deliver outstanding performance and reliability. To ensure reliable operation in harsh environments, these rugged servers are designed to withstand shock loads of 25G.

When bundled with Sun's Solaris Operating Environment, Windows®, or Linux® OS, Themis Rugged Enterprise Servers (RES) provide all of the vital components needed to serve the most demanding mission-critical applications.
