Event Overview
The 2012 Ground Robotics Capabilities Conference and Exhibition provides a forum for Industry and Government to have an honest dialogue for identifying the technologies that meet the future needs of the Warfighter. The Department of Defense recently published its Ground Robotics Vision of establishing an integrated manned/unmanned force that strengthens the United States as the world’s preeminent land power. To achieve this vision, there are four main goals must be achieved:
- Focused Technology
- Balanced Requirements
- A Compelling Return on Investment
- Streamlined Acquisition
With support from the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Ground Robotics Enterprise, NDIA has put together a conference that will feature distinguished speakers and panels of subject matter experts to engage in point-counterpoint debates to answer the question of “what will it take to achieve the vision?”
